Yay I finally got my first pair of contact lens! I bought FreshKon Alluring Eyes Mystic Black. I wanted to buy the brown one but thinking that my parents would find out that I will contacts cuz it's more obvious so I got the black one instead. I got this kind of contacts cuz my eyes look dead and i have too much white so by wearing this contacts my eyes will look more lively and I will look better in photos. It was scary to try to wear the contacts cuz im really afraid to touch my eyeballs lol but after a few attempts i got better at it but still scared lol i probably need to wear it for a few more days to get used to it and become a pro haha I think taking out is harder than putting in cuz i dont dare to pinch too hard lol and 1 thing i dont understand is I realized the center of the contacts is a hole..how come it will make our vision better when I thought it's the center of our eyes (the pupil) that let us see things?

Front of the eye

Light rays enter the front of our eye through the clear cornea and lens. It is very important that both the cornea and lens are clear as this allows the light to pass directly through the front of the eye to the retina.

The cornea and lens bends light so that it can focus on the retina at the back of our eye. This gives us a clear, precise image. The cornea focuses the light towards our retina. The lens fine tunes the focussing of this light

Our tears form a protective layer at the front of the eye and also help to direct the light coming into our eye.

The iris, the coloured circle at the front of our eye, changes the size of the pupil which allows different amounts of light into our eye.

The pupil is the dark hole in the middle of the coloured part of our eye. The pupil gets smaller in bright conditions to let less light in. The pupil gets bigger in dark conditions to let more light in.
